May is just around the corner and the weather is warming up – it’s time to get ready!
With space to plant anything from beautiful flowers to fruits and vegetables to share at your table, Legacy’s Community Garden is a haven for any gardening enthusiast. Donated by WestCreek Developments and hosted by the Legacy Residents Association, this space has been developed with the goal of increasing biodiversity, beautification and community involvement.
With each Legacy family allowed to rent one gardening bed, it’s the perfect way to build something beautiful together. Whether it’s to spend quality time with your spouse or teach the kids a new skill, Legacy’s Community Gardens are an opportunity to help build, well, a legacy!
What you need to know:
- The cost to the bed is $35/year for a 3’x8’ plot and $17.50/year for a 3’x4’ plot
- In addition to the cost, all Legacy Residents Association fees must be up-to-date
- Gardeners are required to maintain their plot and participate in weeding surrounding areas
- All gardeners must sign the Legacy Guidelines and Gardeners Agreement
