The Purple Park and Pump Track
At the heart of Legacy’s newest recreation area is Purple Park, a vibrant playground designed for children of different ages and abilities. Built with durable, high-quality play equipment, Purple Park offers a mix of climbing, sliding and imaginative play that encourages kids to explore at their own pace. Parents will appreciate the thoughtful design, while children will love having another destination to add to their neighbourhood adventures.
Right next door is one of Legacy’s most unique amenities: the community pump track.
As one of only a handful of pump tracks in Calgary, it gives riders of all skill levels a place to build confidence, improve bike handling and, most importantly, have fun. It’s a space that encourages movement, perseverance and plenty of repeat laps… Just don’t forget the helmets!

Outdoor experiences in Legacy don’t stop at the playgrounds. Near Purple Park, a natural amphitheatre overlooks Legacy’s environmental reserve, creating a peaceful place to relax while children play nearby.
